3 [Additional] Reasons to Buy Buttons Cloth Diapers

2014/06 By Lauren B. Stevens 11 Comments

I had the opportunity to review Buttons all-in-two (AI2) cloth diapers for you at the end of March, and absolutely love their AI2 design (easy snap-in inserts, pretty color selection, and ease in laundering).  Towards the end of May, I noticed a strange pattern on the inside of my Buttons diaper shells; upon closer inspection, it appeared as though someone had rubbed tiny patches of the PUL coating off in almost a polka dot pattern all over the shell; I had received a diaper shell with defective PUL (although rare, it sometimes happens — this was my first experience).

I snapped a couple of photos, checked Buttons’ return policy, and sent an email with an explanation and photo attached.  I heard back from Amy in two days, and responded with my laundering routine; Amy provided me with the return address so that they could take a look at the defective PUL on the diaper shell (and they would send a replacement once they received my defective cover).  To make a long story short, the United States Postal Office created some mishaps for us, which resulted in my receiving TWO replacement diaper covers, both of which happen to be in the new Buttons Cloth Diapers prints released this month.  Without further adieu, folks, I present these adorable prints:

ButtonsDiapersNewPrintsAck!  How adorable are these prints?  Acres, and it’s cute farm characters, and Thicket, with it’s beautiful ode to nature.  The other prints in the new collection are Hero and Charming (my son would go GAGA over Hero, as he’s in a pretty intense fire truck phase right now):

charmingheroHaving had this experience, I now have three additional reasons for you to buy Buttons Cloth Diapers:

1.  Um, because AI2s with absorbent snap-in inserts are AMAZING (easy to use, launder, and excellent for heavy-wetters)!

2.  Buttons Cloth Diapers’ customer service is personal, expedient, and exceptional!

3.  Have you seen the adorable new prints?  Their color selections are super pretty as well (there’s a new Cherry red color, and I love Marina and Tangerine).

3a. You know you can use Buttons’ shells as covers for flats and prefolds, right?

As always, you can connect with Buttons Cloth Diapers on social media: Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.  Ready to add some Buttons Cloth Diapers to your stash (you know you want to)?  I would love it if you purchased through my affiliate link HERE.

*I accidentally received an extra replacement cover, at no cost to myself; however, all opinions are my own.

I really wish that I would have used cloth diapers on my youngest son. I really think it would have made a huge difference when it came to potty training. He doesn’t really care if he is wet or dirty because we used disposable diapers. I always changed him shortly after he messed in his diaper.

We started in cloth, but have used disposables throughout our diapering journey, so I can definitely understand your experience! There have been times when I’ve been absolutely amazed by how long a disposable diaper lasts on a kiddo! (We use them for overnight, but when my son has had yeast rashes, we’ve used disposables during the day)

Buttons diapers are my favorite diapers, pretty much my entire day time stash is comprised of this awesome fluff! So glad to see them getting lots of love!

I’m new to the CD world… Are Buttons the one size cloth diapers, or do they come in different sizes? Also, AI2 mean you can use disposable liners too? Thanks for the help!

      Hi Anel,

Welcome! Buttons are one-size diapers, but they offer two different sizes of inserts (small and large) to carry you from birth through potty training. You can use a disposable insert with them, as the shells function like regular diaper covers.

These would be great for my 3 grandbabies, 3 month old and twins. They all use throw away ones.

It’s never too late to ‘convert’ them – cloth is great and Buttons diapers are super easy!

I have been wanting to try Buttons for a while now and now have more reasons! I love when a company has good customer service, many don’t!
