We’re moving in 3 weeks. Scratch that. By the time you read this, we’ll be moving in 2 weeks time. This will be my first move with a child, a mobile baby at that, and I need to a.) get my butt in-gear, and b.) get organized! I was just thinking about finding a printable calendar page when I came across an opportunity to give printables by Mama’s Got It Together a go!
I chose the “Schedules & Routines” planner in Chevron. I love the cool colors and simple design – it relaxes me when I sit down to jot down everything I need to get done (stressful). There are many other designs and organizer types to choose from in Sarah’s Etsy shop.
You’re probably wondering what anyone needs with a paper planner these days. Well…I just updated to a smart phone a few months ago, but I still an not into electronic calendars. I have a semi-photographic memory, so it really helps for me to be able to write down important appointments and to-do lists on paper. When I recall my schedule in my mind, I clearly see it written on my calendar or to-do list. This helps a great deal because I’ve been forgetful my entire life (and even moreso since having a baby). My mother taught me to make lists almost as soon as I could write because of my forgetfulness! And my husband’s been privy to epic stories of me ‘losing’ various important items throughout my childhood. However, I regularly forget the lists I make, so there’s only so much one can do….
All of this is to say that you should check out Mama’s Got It Together’s printables! I’ve recently begun an editorial calendar for my blog, as well as long and short term to-do lists for my site design and focus. Included in the Schedules & Routines planner is a weekly ‘To-Do’ list, which is incredibly useful for me right now! Here is what is included in the Schedules & Routines planner:
- Monthly Calendar
- Weekly Calendar
- Daily Calendar
- Goal Sheet
- Weekly & Monthly ‘To-Do’ Lists
- Important Dates
- Contact Sheet
- much more!
For those of you that are ‘paperless’, the planner is editable, so you don’t have to print them out. I am loving my new binder, and am already feeling as though I’m doing a little better with keeping track of it all (especially now that I have a designated place to write everything down).
