If you’ve ever seen the movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, you’ll understand when I say that Earth Mama Angel Baby Bottom Balm is my Windex. For those of you who haven’t seen the movie, I mean that I use this ointment on everything.
When my son was three weeks old he broke out into the most painful looking diaper rash on his behind. Knowing that regular diaper rash ointment could potentially ruin my cloth diapers, I hit the internet in search of cloth-friendly remedies. I stumbled upon this extremely helpful chart at Pinstripes and PolkaDots, which helped guide me in the right direction. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate my top choices at any area stores, so we resorted to buying disposable diapers and trying to treat with OTC remedies while we waited for our CD friendly products to arrive in the mail.
The OTC remedies helped to protect the area, but did not clear up the rash. Thank goodness our Angel Baby Bottom Balm (ABBB) arrived in the mail quickly. My thoughts? ABBB is an all-natural, chemical-free product that smells absolutely divine with it’s gentle lavender scent! Comprised of organic olive oil and a handful of organic essential oils, it’s gentle on my little guy’s sensitive skin and it cleared-up his diaper rash within a couple of days. I was sold.

Any time I see a little pink on my son, I rub a little Bottom Balm on it. But, it doesn’t stop there. Just recently, I found myself dipping into one of our jars of Bottom Balm for my own use. I had a stubbornly cracked nipple that had been hanging around for weeks. At my wits end, I put a bit of ABBB on a cotton ball and kept it applied to the affected area, only removing it to nurse. Because it’s all-natural, I was able to have D nurse without having to wash off the balm. The ABBB actually felt soothing on my painful nipple. After two days of using the balm, my cracked nipple was on it’s way to being completely healed (and I’ve not had an issue since).

This is my go-to ointment! I can only imagine the uses I’ll find once D gets older becomes mobile. I can see myself chasing he and my husband around with my jar of balm, just waiting for a moment to dab some on (hey, what can it hurt?). I’ve also made ABBB my go-to gift for new moms – I like to spread the Earth Mama Angel Baby love.
Angel Baby Bottom Balm is just one of the many wonderful natural and organic products that Earth Mama Angel Baby has to offer. I decided to branch out last week and ordered Angel Baby Lotion and Calming Lavender Shampoo & Body Wash for D and some Earth Mama Body Butter for myself — I can’t wait to try them out!
