Let me introduce you to the training pants that will take your little one from Dapperly Diapered to a Potty Training Superhero: Super Undies! Of the four types of trainers we’ve tried, these are my favorite for several reasons (being American-made is one of them).
If you take a quick spin around Super Undies’ website, you’ll find that they are a company with a sense of [potty] humor; I suppose you’d have to have a sense of humor to be in the [stressful] potty training business, eh?
Since we started potty training our son at an earlier age (19 months), Super Undies are a great option because their design makes them easy to pull up or down and they provide the option to add more absorbency, if needed (great for early training and running errands).
Of the different styles of trainers we own, I love the fit of Super Undies the best. Declan was right on the divide between sizes, so I ordered up (medium); Super Undies are the softest and the easiest to pull on and off.
The stretchy side tabs (white) allow for comfort, easy pull-up or down, and your little one’s growth (because accidents can happen WAY after your little one is potty trained). In addition to the two-layer microfiber padding, there is an envelope or pocket built in for added absorption, perfect for early potty training and naps; don’t be fooled, though, these trainers are designed to make your little one feel wet (inside panel is mesh, not a moisture-wicking fabric). In case of an accident, Super Undies Pull-on Underpants have a waterproof wet zone (orange area). Best of all, Super Undies are designed to look like undies; there’s no mistaking this for a baby diaper!
There are so many pros about Super Undies, and for once, I’ve not been able to give you a con; Super Undies receive TWO thumbs-up from me!
– wide range in sizes, from early potty trainers to elementary-school bed-wetters; Super Undies even offers adult sizing!
– comfortable design with easy pull-up/pull-down
– waterproof wet zone protection while allowing your child to feel wet
– designed to look like underpants (for older children)
