If you’ve been hanging out in cloth diaper circles for any amount of time, you’re sure to have heard of Project Pomona. Cloth diapering parents are lucky to have the inside scoop on Project Pomona’s amazing pants and shorts, but the truth is that their clothing is perfect for every type of diapered bum. I bought Declan his first pair of Project Pomona jeans last fall and I love how great they fit his fluffy [and now non-fluffy] bum. Because D’s so lean, we’ve not had many issues with pants [not fitting], but a couple of favorite pairs of Gap jeans did give him that strange “man belly” look (you know, the one where a man’s stomach looks like a woman’s in pants). Enter Project Pomona.
I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for OshKosh Bgosh. I received a gift card to facilitate my shopping trip and to thank me for participating.
This past week, my family went to the outlets in Lancaster, Pa to check out OshKosh B’gosh’s spring line of children’s clothing. As part of a Mom Central campaign, we were given a $100 gift card to facilitate our shopping trip and share our experience.
With help from the Store Locator tool, I found the two closest OshKosh stores (Gettysburg & Lancaster outlets) and we planned our day around our trip. We were lucky enough to be able to visit the outlet store around 10am on a weekday, so we truly had the store to ourselves (if you’ve ever been to outlets, you know how busy they can be on weekends). The employee working was extremely helpful, showing us the spring lines and helping us find Declan’s sizes and different clothing options.

Declan is almost 19 months old, but I couldn’t resist taking a look at the adorable collection of baby boys clothes in the Baby B’gosh line. It seems almost yesterday we were shopping for tiny little outfits, but now we’re buying 2T/24 month clothing! OshKosh’s spring line is full of vibrant colors, which was the bright spot of shopping on an overcast and snowy January day.
|How YOU doin’?|
Before going to the store, I had taken a look at the toddler boy spring line on OshKosh B’gosh’s website, so I had an idea of what we were interested in taking a look at while visiting the store. I was immediately taken with the bright colored khakis, paired with bright shirts (a nice departure from dark fall and winter colors). Last year, finding an Easter outfit for Declan proved to be challenging, as Easter isn’t an overly dressy occasion for our family [but it’s not exactly jeans and tee shirts either]. OshKosh’s spring line has a lot of great Easter options for boys, from dressy (with adorable bow ties) to smart casual or “preppy”.

My husband has a few shawl collar sweaters that I love, so when I saw the shawl collar cardigan, I knew that I had to get one for Declan. Declan’s Easter/Spring ‘dressy’ outfit combines the beautiful shawl collar cardigan with a blue striped button down, collared shirt, a spring green pair of slacks and fun, brightly colored socks (can’t forget the accessories). OshKosh offers quality clothing in classic styles, with modern twists (such as the green slacks) — you can never go wrong with the classics. Not including the socks, this outfit (pictured above) came to $38.41, an absolute steal — and I’ll tell you how you can save 20% off of your order a little later in this post.
|Adorable boys’ seersucker overalls|
When I think of the name OshKosh B’gosh, I think of quality clothing, denim, and OVERALLS! Declan has almost outgrown his winter, fleece-lined OshKosh overalls, so overalls were on our shopping list for this trip. I saw these adorable seersucker overalls in the spring collection and had to grab a pair for the warmer spring/summer weather. I paired the overalls with a classic polo shirt, for a smart outfit under $25 ($24.96, to be exact).
Always a savvy shopper, I hit the clearance racks to see if I could pick up any winter items for next year. We were able to snag next year’s Christmas pajamas, a cute long-sleeved dinosaur tee, a heavy hooded sweatshirt, heavy hooded sweater, and a pack of socks for$24.45!
So, how did I get all of this for under $100? I was able to stretch my dollar with a little help from a great coupon OshKosh is running right now: 20% off of purchase of $30 or more. You can grab the coupon, for use in-store or online, by clicking this link HERE.
We found the store incredibly easy to navigate, organized (as you can see in the above photos), and the employee to be very helpful. The only difficulty we encountered was deciding what to get for Declan, with all of the great choices in the spring line! Even though the snow keeps coming, it’s not too early to be thinking of spring. Head to your local OshKosh B’gosh to stock up on spring clothing and save 20% off of your order of $30.
